Profit after selling a commodity for ₹ 425 is the same as the loss after selling it for ₹ 355. The cost of the commodity is

    Answer:  (4) Rs.390
    Explanation:-
    Let be the cost price is Rs.X
    Then, Profit = 425 – X
    Second condition-
    Loss = X – 355
    According to the question,
    425 – X = X – 355
    2X = 425  + 355
    X = 780/2
    X = 390
    Hence, the answer is Rs.390
