Name of deep sea explorer searching for Malaysian MH370 aircraft
The Deep Sea Explorer vehicle used to locate the missing Malyasian MH370 aircraft is Bluefin-21. Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared on 8 March 2014.
Plans to send a submarine to probe the deep ocean for the remains of Malaysia Airlines fight MH370 have been put on hold until another signal is received, or it is certain the batteries in the black box recorded have expired.
Malaysia’s transport minister says he is confident the MH370 flight which disappeared almost a year ago will be found in the southern Indian Ocean.

An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) designed for deep-sea surveying.
It has a “swappable payload”. It will first use sonar in the search and will be refitted with cameras if something is detected.
