    The World-Famous Film ‘The Gandhi’ is the biographic film on the life of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Indian freedom fighter nonviolent leader’s,   John Briley was the writer of this world-famous film and directed by the Richard Attenborough.

    Richard Attenborough, (29 August 1923 – 24 August 2014) was an English actor, Producer, Director and Entrepreneur and politician. In 1983, Richard Attenborough won the  Academy Award for Gandhi. He also won a several awards like BAFTA Awards and Golden Globe Awards.  Richard Attenborough also won the India’s third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan in 1983,
