Abanindrananth Tagore was the painter of the famous painting Called ‘Bharatmata’. Abanindranath Tagore, ( 7 August 1871 – 5 December 1951) was the son of Prince Dwarkanath Tagore and the nephew of the great poet Rabindranath Tagore. Abanindranath Tagore was the principal artist and originator of ‘Indian Society of Oriental Art’ and first major exponent of Swadeshi values in Indian art.
