Hajira-Bijapur-Jagdispur (HBJ) Gas pipe-line has been constructed by the Gas Authorities of India Limited (GAIL). Hajira-Bijapur-Jagdishpur gas pipe-line is 1,750 km long and its connects Hazira in Maharashtra state to Bijapur in Madhya Pradesh state and Jagdishpur in Uttar Pradesh. This pipe-line is the world largest underground pipe-line.
This gas pipe-line carries 18 million cubic metres of gas every day house at kawas (Gujarat), Anta (Rajsathan), and Auraiya (Uttar Pradesh), and six fertilizer plants at Bijapur, Sawai Madhopur, Jagdishpur, Shahjahanpur, Aonla and Babrala. It has brought a big transformation in the economy of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
