**Explanation:-**

The height of a tree = 64 cm

Tree increased annually by 1/8th

Then, the height of tree after one year = 64 + 64 x 1/8

= 64 + 8

= 72 cm.

The height of tree after two year = 72 + 72 x 1/8′

= 72 + 9

= 81 cm

Hence, the height of tree after two years will be 81 cm.
