    Humayun was driven out of Hindustan in 1540 AD after the Battle of Kannuaj. Battle of Kannauj was fought between the Humayun and Shershah Suri. Shershah Suri defeated Humayun and forced him to flee from India. Humayun took refuge in Iran. In the Battle of Chausa Shershah Suri also defeated Humanyun but he captured Agra only.

    Mughal Empire was one of the greatest ever in India. Mughal Empire started in India after defeated Lodhi dynasty in 1526 and Babar became the Emperor of India (1526-1530), Humayun who was the eldest son of the Babar, succeeded his father and became the second emperor of Mughal empire.

    Sher Shah Suri who also known as the Lion King of India. He was an Afghan leader took over the Mughal empire after defeating Humanyun in 1540.
