    Nicolo de Conti (1395 -1469) 

    The Italian traveller Nicolo de Counti Visited the VIjayanagar empire with his wife in 1420 AD, during the reign of Deva Raya-I. He de Conti described Deva Raya-I as the most powerful king of India. Nicolo de Conti was a merchant and explorer. 

    Vijayanagar is an ancient city is in Bellary District Karnataka. When Nicolo was reached in India firstly he visited in Gujarat city Cambaya and pass out after some days he turned to Pacamuria and then after some  coastal areas he reached  teh Raya’s Capital VIjayanagar. He calls it “Bizenegalia.”
