A member of Liliaceae that shows reticulate venation is smilax. Liliaceae consists of fifteen genera about 600 species of flowering plants. A number of Liliaceae genera are popular cultivated plants in private and public spaces.

Liliaceae has now been divided into a number of smaller families. The Liliaceae family are characterised as monocotyledonous, perennial, herbaceous, bulbous flowering plants with simple trichomes and contractile roots. Here are  some lily,

    • Michigan lily (Lilium michiganese)
    • Yellow trout-lily
    • White trout-lily
