The Metal used for making Aircrafts and Rockets is Aluminium. Because Aluminum is a fairly soft, strong, and lightweight metal with silver gray color. Aluminum acts as an excellent conductor of electricity and heat but non-magnetic. Other important characteristics of aluminum include low density, ductility and malleability.

Aircraft aluminium appeared for the first time in Germany in the early 20th century.
