    K2SO4.Al2(SO4)3.24H2O is the Molecular formula of Alum. Alum is a crystalline solid, aluminium potassium sulfate, K2SO4.Al2(SO4)3.24H2O. It is used as astringent and styptic and in dyeing. It is also used in the manufacture of mordants and pigments, in dressing leather and medicine as a styptic and astringent.
