Madhya Pradesh

The Pachmarhi Biosphere Reserve is a non-use patronage area in the Stpura Range of Madhya Pradesh state, In central India. This is a magnificent biosphere reserve situated foothills of Northern Satpura range and this biosphere reserve has an are of 1472 sq km. The area covered by the constituents is as follows:
Satpura National Park:524.37 sq km.
Bori Sanctarury: 485.72 sq km
Pachmarhi Sanctuary: 417.87 sq. km

This region is fulfill from bio diversity and many species of birds and wild animal also. The Pachmarhi Biosphere is as follow:
Giant Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Bison, Tiger, Leopard, , Malabar Whistling Thrush, Malabar Pied Hornbill, Ruddy Mongoose, Fox, Jackal, Nilgai, Black Buck, Rhesus Macaque, Hanuman Langur, Wild Boar, Barking Deer, Four Horned Deer, Indian Civet, Porcupine, Pangolin, Indian Gazelle, Mouse Deer, Sloth Bear, Wild Dog, Palm Civet, Black-naped Hare, Jungle cat, Rusty Spotted Cat, Indian Wolf, Hyena, Ratel, Bar-headed Geese, Pintail, Garganey, Red Crested Pochard, Ruddy Shelduck, Black Eagle, Rufous-bellied Eagle, Shahin Falcon, Bonelli’s Eagle, Mountain Hawk Eagle, Mugger Crocodile.
