**Answer: (3) 37.5 %**

**Explanation:-**

The selling price of an item = Rs.640

Loss = 20 %

Then, the cost price of an item = 640 x 100/80

= Rs.800

If, hr makes profit 10 %,

Then, the selling price of an item = 800 x 110/100

= Rs.880

Increased the selling price = 880 – 640

= Rs.240

Percentage of increase selling price = 240 x 100/640

= 24 x 100 /64

= 3 x 100/8

= 3 x 25 /2

= 37.5 %

Hence, the answer is (3) 37.5%.
