Prem Vatika, poems on the life of Krishna, were composed by Raskhan.
Raskhan was a poet who was a Muslim follower of Lord Krishna. Sayyad Ibrahim was the real name of Ruskhan. He was born in 1548 A.D. and he lived in Amroha in India. Most of the scholars say that Raskhan was a Pathan Sardar and his birthplace was Kabul in the Afganistan. He spoke both Hindi and Percian and he translated “Bhagavat Purana” into Percian.
His creations describe the beauty of not only Lord Krishna but also his relations with his beloved Radha. His poetry is in the form of Doha, Padawali and Savayya.
