    Pulses are a good source of Proteins. Pulses play important in our diet, pulses include a number of crops like Chana, tur, masur, urad, moong and peas.  Some pulse crops like Gram, Lobia, Urdbean & Moongbean are fed to animal as green fodder. Moong plants are also used as green manure.
