    Shatabdi means in Sanskrit ‘centenary’. The first shatabdi train started in 1988 to celebrate the centenary of first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar lal Nehru by minister of railway Madhav rao Scindia. It operated from New Delhi to Jhansi, later extend to Bhopal. It is known a shatabdi express
