India is the largest producer of Bajra and Rajasthan is the largest producer of Bajara. Bajra is grown on red, sandy loams and black soil in the Kharif Season. Bajra have a very high fiber content which makes it healthier. Bajra has some medicinal properties. It is easily digestible and has the lowest probability of causing allergic reactions. It is helpful in maintaining cardiovascular health and in acidity problems.
