    Terra Rossa in Latin or Italian language is another name for “Red Soil” or “Red Terrain“.

    Formation of Red Soil:

    In the presence of Limestone weather, clay present in rocks is extracted. Upon oxidization the clay forms rust or Iron Oxide. This gives a orange-red colour.

    This soil is very popular for the production of Wine.
