    Answer: (a) 1980

    The diameter of a wheel = 1.26 m
    Then, the circumference of the wheel = 22 x 1.26/7
    = 3.96 m

    The number of revolutions = 500
    Then, distance covered by the wheel in 500 revolution = 1980 m

    Hence, the correct answer is option (a) 1980.
