    Option 2 is the right answer.

    In the British Rule in India the workers working inthe Tea plants were not allowed to leave the farm without permission . They were not getting paid as per their work . So when Mahatma Gandhi started a movement for self rule , the workers started leaving for there hometowns and native places to be there own.
