Find Out the Value of Smaller Angle in Degree.

If the sum and difference of two angles are 22/9 radian and 36o respectively, then the value of smaller angle in degree taking the value of π as 22/7 is:

    Answer:  (2) 52o

    Explanation:-
    Let the two angles are x and y.
    2 pai = 360o
    According to question,
    360 x 22/2pai x 9 = 22/9 rad
    360 x 7 x 22/2 x 22 x 9
    = 140o
    Sum of the angles,
    x + y = 140                       ………………  (1)
    Difference of the angles,
    x – y = 36                                  ………………    (2)
    Solve equation (1) & (2)
    Then, x = 88 and y = 52

    Then, the value of smaller angle is 52o.

    Hence, the answer is (2) 52o.
